Abstract

Critical Control Management has been practiced by mature resource-rich organisations for years and is considered integral to keeping people safe while demonstrating due diligence.   When understood and executed correctly, it is a highly effective way to prevent fatalities.

However, when organisations do not have a full understanding on how to operationalise Critical Control Management it can result in confusion and an ineffective program.

Whether you are at the start of your CCM journey, been doing it for a while or are simply curious around what is it, this presentation is one not to be missed.

Take-aways include:

  • The key steps to critical control management
  • How to identify effective controls that can be measured
  • Importance of audit and assurance
  • Pitfalls to avoid and lessons learned
