Mental Health First Aid Instructor

Annabelle Jerram is an experienced trainer, facilitator, coach and consultant in the mental health and wellbeing space. With a background in psychology and neuroscience, and interest and further training in coaching psychology, she delivers a range of mental health and wellbeing courses and workshops for businesses, community organisations and government departments. She is an accredited Mental Health First Aid instructor and a trained coach who enjoys incorporating strengths-based and solution-focused coaching approaches into her training and consultancy work. Annabelle has almost 30 years’ experience working across the public and private sectors, including many years’ senior leadership experience in the not-for-profit health and social sectors space. She has led teams in mobile mental health support as well as sitting in national leadership roles across workforce development, health and safety, and quality and project management. Her professional experience also extends to health policy, mental health drug safety management, and biomedical writing and editing. For the last six years she’s facilitated training workshops and coaching to frontline staff and management, from small businesses to large companies across New Zealand, Australia and more globally. Annabelle is endlessly fascinated by what makes people tick, and what makes people thrive. She is passionate about helping leaders and teams build literacy around mental health, mental fitness and wellbeing to create more psychologically safe and thriving workplaces—while actively maintaining their own mental wellbeing to keep it sustainable.
