The aim of this course is to provide participants with a general awareness of the risks associated with road transport and the important part that they as a heavy vehicle driver as well as all parties within supply chain play in ensuring the safety of the community as a whole.

This course includes understanding the impacts associated with failing to manage transport safety risks, the key risk areas to be managed, legalisation including the concept of “Chain of Responsibility”, the roles and responsibilities within the supply chain as well as how off-road parties can control transport safety risks
